Rooms are private, quiet and clean and, unlike other hostels, you only have one or two people to a room. The hostel is on the UBC campus, surrounded by forest and ocean, with easy access to campus amenities, affordable food, pubs and entertainment and Vancouver's many attractions. It's a safe, secure environment surrounded by hiking and biking trails and Vancouver's most popular beaches. Pacific Spirit Hostel is the backpacker's best budget accommodation. Or, during peak hours take the #44 Express bus from any stop on Burrard St. to the last stop at the Diesel Bus Loop across from the Gage Towers. Via Public Transit (from Airport): There is no direct bus service from the Airport; take the Canada Line Skytrain - first train at 5:10am, last train at 12:57am - transfer onto a westbound/UBC bus at any of the following stations: Oakridge Station, 41st Station (bus #41, or #43), City Hall Station (bus #99 B-line) or the Olympic Village Station (bus #84). Each of these buses terminates at the Diesel Bus Loop across from the Gage Towers. Please note it is approximately a 10 minute walk from the UBC Bus Loop to the Pacific Spirit Hostel at Place Vanier Residence located in section C2 of the printable campus map.
