Our San Francisco Hostel is located at 494 Broadway in the North Beach area, famous for entertainment, book stores, and beat generation history. This colorful neighborhood is also one of the city's safest, and our hostel is a close walk to such famous landmarks as the cable cars, Coit Tower with its sweeping views, the Transamerica Pyramid, Fisherman's Wharf and exotic Chinatown - one of the largest Asian enclaves in the western hemisphere. The hippest cafes, a rainbow of ethnic foods, and lots of live bands fill out the fun menu.

Directions: From the airport: A Shuttle bus costs $10-$15 and will drop you at our front door. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) runs from the airport to downtown and costs $4.70. Get off at Montgomery Station and walk 1-2 blocks south on Market St. to 3rd & Market. There, transfer to San Francisco MUNI 9x or 15 which costs $1, and go to Broadway. The 9x stops half block from our corner, and the 15 stops at Columbus and Broadway. You will see the big green sign.
